follow-up from my previous email... less than 7 days...
the leaves are peaking and my fitness is not. this is going to be great.
1. bring your current uscf license and $5 (to cover insurance, money for
the follow car and the rest will go towards beer and pizza at Jordans)
2. the ride is full at 30 riders... check out the latest roster. http://pages.cthome.net/sbadger88/news/tdr2003/rider_roster.htm
3. anyone showing up morning of will be turned away, I have started a waiting
list.
4. the latest weather is partly cloudy and 57 degrees. SWEET!
5. if you can not make it... please let me know ASAP....
6. HORSES! I have ridden the dirt the past two Sundays and have come upon horses.
If you see a horse STOP IMMEDIATELY!!! and initial friendly communication with
the rider of the horse. They usually let us ride by very slow with no problem.
Talk to the horse and let the horse know that we are people... (sounds funny,
but we have been requested to do this) We ride these roads all the time... don't
piss anyone off! Please be respectful and courteous.
7. bring spare wheels, tubes, pump and EXCELLENT tires! Long changes or multiple
changes are very, very bad. You will be buying beer.
please contact me with any questions....
and again...
this is a FUN ride! Weiner fighting is strongly frowned upon and should be verbally discouraged by everyone.
We will be stopping and regrouping after pretty much EVERY dirt sector... the faster you go.. the longer you will wait... and if you hammer every sector, you WILL crack on East Flag Swamp. I promise.
I will be sending one more email later in the week.
Lata!
