Hi Folks. TDR2003 is just over a week away!

The roads are in pristine condition. If you are debating on which bike to use..... I would say cross bike first, road bike with 27c tires second and mtbike last.

The start time is 9am. READY TO RIDE!... Please come early to get some coffee at Starbucks, sign the USCF release form (and $5 for insurance) and be ready to enjoy the day in Northwest Connecticut.

If you know of anyone that is planning on doing this ride and is NOT on the rider list... they NEED TO contact me ASAP! I do not want more than 30 riders and we are already at 24.... and DEFINATELY DO NOT PLAN ON SHOWING UP THAT MORNING!

From the list you can see that this is a FANTASTIC group of people... make sure you introduce yourself and make some new friends.

I have lost my follow car (his wife is having a baby!)... I am still working on one... but make sure your bike is in excellent working order and have tubes, pump or air, enough water, food and bring money for our stop at Roxbury Market.

There will be a "race" section again this year.... it will be AFTER the stop at Roxbury Market. The section is 5km long and climbs up for 2km before riding the ridge for another 2km... then turns to rough pavement for a wide open and WINDY finish... I plan on painting the dirt the night before with 1km, 500 meters and 200 meters.

Remember to use EXTREME caution at ALL TIMES!.... the dirt roads are all single lane and have the potential for oncoming cars and HUGE SUV's!

We are still doing BEER and PIZZA at Jordans afterwards. I will be subsidizing with the entry fee money.

I think that is it.... please email or call me with any questions.

Thanks!
