Mission Statement

St. John the Evangelist School is a Kindergarten to Grade Eight school which serves the suburban Watertown area.  Within a unique spiritual atmosphere conducive to achieving academic excellence, the school is committed to teach as Jesus did, enabling all students to reach the fullness of their potential.  The school, drawing upon its rich tradition which reflects our Catholic heritage, provides each student with the necessary skills to become doers of faith, weavers of justice and makers of peace.

 Announcements for EARLY DISMISSAL are usually made by 10:00 a.m. All parents please listen to radio station WATR  and Channels 3 and 30 on cable TV on days when we ANTICIPATE INCLEMENT WEATHER. 

Do not call the school office as we need to keep the lines open for emergency communication situations as they arise during the day!
