Let's talk serious for a moment here.

In recent months, a certain mindless shit-for-brains known as Ken Van Hoosier (if that is his real name), also known as (take your pick) "Vlankky", "Spankky", "Wankky", or "VVankky" dwelled among the denizens of alt.tv.game-shows and proceeded to wreak havoc in the process.

How? Let's enumerate:

Spankky then departed a.t.g-s in a huff, claiming he'd gotten everything he needed from us, apparently never to be heard from again.

That is, until May 1, 2000, at 5:14 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

The victim was Who Wants To Be A Moronionaire host David Zinkin. In a move nobody in their right minds would condone, the following was left on Mr. Zinkin's voice mail while he was in Europe on vacation:

"Hello, it's Spankky!"

And that's the reason for this page. The man(?) has gone from flaming ass to stalker in three words. It's time we, the citizens of a.t.g-s, put this piece in his rightful place.

2001: THE RETURN OF SPANKKY?

We thought we had heard the last of Spankky. We really did. We thought wrong. This time he's apparently enlisted the help of one of the regulars from Frank Genovay's Game Show Fan Forum (to which I will never link) to champion his cause. See this e-mail from November 27, 2001:

You may think you’re protecting your son, but you’re not.  All you’re doing is forestalling the day that Ryan Bugaj is held accountable for his antics and libelous crimes against Kenneth Van Hoosier.  And the longer that takes, the more brazen he’ll be, and the more painful his fall.

Apparently this "Aaron Handy III" is either very stupid, or is, in my opinion, Spankky himself. We'll have to wait and see about this one, but all the facts (which refute everything in this e-mail) are here for review.

CLASSIC SPANKKY

On June 4, 2000, Ken re-oriented his frustration and posted the following Quizlet on his "site":

Q: Do you think Randy Amasia and David Zinkin are losers and should have their little asses kicked?

After seeing a lot of "no" votes, he added:

(Beseen lets me see the e-mail addresses of the people who vote here and I know Randy and David clicked "No" many times.)

And, of course, BeSeen does not allow anything like that. But as previously enumerated, Spankky wouldn't know what the truth was if it bit him.

The "no" votes continued. So we got this:

Extra information about Randy and David: Both of them are gay. This world doesn't like or need any gay people. I hate gay people.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, boy. For the record, David isn't gay, and it's common knowledge that Randy is. (Not that there's anything wrong with it.)

The Quizlet eventually got pulled after several complaints to Freeservers, Von Loser's Web host. (A small victory for the good guys!)

But he wasn't done, as in this forged message to his forum on June 10:

SUBJECT: Hello everybody!!!

I think Ken has a really cool game show web site. It has so many original ideas!!! Did you know that I am gay?

UPDATE 2:

Now, as we've seen, Ken can't formulate an original idea to save his life. And on June 30, we saw even more proof. This time, we're all the victims. Read this message to a.t.g-s from Nick Mooneyhan, and shudder in terror:

Well, folks, Spankky has struck again.

On his so called "website", he has removed all the stolen stuff that was there before for... more stolen stuff. (Another moral victory for us. -Ed.)

This time, he's made his own "Anti-Spankky" page, and (not surprisingly) stolen images from Mike Klauss again and all the logos from J.W. Rhine.

What is the really annoying part is that he put the .wav of his infamous "phone call" on LOOP in the background.

Folks, he's just getting more demented with each passing day. All I can say is TO HELL WITH KEN VON LOSER!  I am sick of this.

Opinions are very welcome.

UPDATE 3:

Spankky obviously didn't learn. On June 30, he closed his poor excuse for a Web page and opened the "Spankky Extravaganza," where he claimed that he wasn't the aforementioned Spankky and that he got the now-infamous voice mail. More complaints. The Extravaganza closed as quickly as it sprang up.

That could have been the end of the story. But it turned out to be just the beginning.

When his "Web site" returned, visitors were greeted with the following:

Remember, the newsgroup alt.tv.game-shows is for morons and losers. These people at this newsgroup have an obsessive compulsive disorder. They can't learn to let go of game shows. They think game shows are God. That's why I don't go there. It's just plain common sense for a normal person!

All material on this site was created by Vlankky. Nothing was taken from any other website. A few people stole things from my website. Damn idiots!

BZZZZZZ! As we all know by now, that's about as bald-faced a lie as they come. And it gets worse, as the header to his links page (which contained all the anti-Spankky Web sites on it) indicated:

Here are a few losers that have Spankky Sites! These losers go back to my site everyday to see what new things and ideas I have for them to steal! I have the original Spankky Site!

Loser? Hardly. Go to his site everyday? Not me! I've admittedly gone once or twice, but only to see if he took anything from my site (God forbid if he even thought of pinching the DFG!).

Note the comment by the link to Mike Klauss' site:

Claims my website is his hard work! He's full of B.S.

This all paled in comparison to the ultimate transgression: at the bottom of that page, posted for the world to see: David Zinkin's home address and telephone number, with the comment: "D.Z., you better start begging to have this removed!"

Zinkin didn't need to beg. Spankky did it for him, though indirectly. In his final act of idiocy, he, impersonating Zinkin, sent e-mail death threats to several a.t.g-s'ers. (I, fortunately, was not one of them.) Zinkin got wind of this through a colleague of his who will remain nameless. (But only because I don't know who.) Spankky's ISP, his Web provider, and the appropriate authorities were informed.

On July 5, we thought victory was attained. Spankky's site ceased to exist. His Web access went with it.

Or so we thought.

Fast forward to July 8. By now you've heard about the "Bob" e-mail.

He copyrighted that name a while back. The person that got the site will change the name of it. The site will be back up with its new owner at http://www.game-shows.com/ in a couple weeks. He also sold him his game show collection of 700+ episodes for $250. Ken decided to keep his game show books, CDs, home games, and computer games. Ken "Vlankky" made $400. He really used you guys.

"Bob" apparently is Bob Wheaton -- AKA Spankky. And for the record, I DID NOT give that little bastard anything...since I'm currently not actively trading, that'd be quite difficult! Also, read the text carefully. And note that www.game-shows.com was registered about two YEARS ago. And that, if you've read my library page carefully, it says selling game show tapes like the ones Spankky has (note use of present tense, for all we know, the sale is a lie too) IS ILLEGAL.

Enough is enough. Let's nail this a**hole once and for all. Spread the word. Let's get this worthless piece of humanity out of our hair for good.
