Tears are falling on my storybook
Colors running, I don’t want to look
There’s a cloud on my looking glass
Full of questions I’m afraid to ask
Afraid to love, such a chance to take
If I love and lose, my fragile heart will break

No dotted line, there’s no guarantee
For the story’s end you may never see
Unchain me from my poverty
Release my soul

Unchain my life
Let the doubt and the darkness fall from my eyes
Unchain my dreams
Let the heavens of love open up for me...

Kristin Kreuk stars as Clark Kent's star-crossed love Lana Lang in Smallville. Kreuk can next be seen in Partition, with Neve Campbell and Jimi Mistry. The film is a love story played out against a backdrop of political and religious upheaval in 1940s India.

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Kreuk began acting in high school plays, but focused more on her schoolwork than the stage. Fate came calling at the beginning of her senior year, when a casting director looking for new talent for the television series Edgemont tapped Kreuk for a starring role. It was her first professional audition.

Kreuk was recently seen in the mini-series Earthsea, with Isabella Rossellini and Danny Glover. She also starred on Edgemont for four seasons. Currently, Kreuk is one of the faces of Neutrogena.

Kreuk currently lives in Vancouver and, when not working, enjoys reading and spending time with friends.
