I joined the Shoreline Quilters' Guild and got involved in helping to set up the Quilt Odyssey '98 at Our Lady of Mercy School in Madison, Connecticut in October 1998. I have met the most wonderful ladies that love to quilt like I do! I had never been to a quilt show before! These are some of the wonderful quilts that were displayed.
Evelyn Judson is the Shoreline Quilter's Guild current president and she had a demonstration of her quilts and how to incorporate the vividity of color.

In October 1998, I made the Batik Cat quilt wall hanging. I had purchased the Batik prints from one of the vendors at the Shoreline Quilters' Quilt Show. I entered this quilt into the Guilford Fair in September 1999 and this little quilt took second place!
