And getting back in touch is really what this year’s about;

September gave us a brand new flavor of urgent!

Those things that rest in the back of our minds...rarely acted out,

Than I’m sure we’ve ever shown...

Though we’re not always attentive,

In our hearts the love has grown...

‘Til, now, come time to tell you...

What you should have always known,

We thank God for each of you

in prayer each night!

This season is so special...

About God’s most wondrous gift...

A gift most people STILL need

Spirit’s healing...Grace’s lift!

Maybe more so now than ever,

As we face a widening rift...

Between what we know is TRUE

It’s this rift that’s made me thoughtful

‘Bout the rifts in our own sphere...

Those distant we’ve left languish...

Favoring, more, convenience here,

Overlooking far-off fullness...

For a handier dose of cheer,

Think it’s time we find our center

just a bit closer to "home"!

So, for those of you who’ve gotten this

For the first time in a while...

Know it’s sent with all sincerity

And an apologetic smile...

And the promise of reunion...

Even across mile after mile...

If only in our minds and hearts...
