My ARDC years of racing

"Here are a few images as I race with ARDC"

In 1986 I decided to change the color of the car from "Black" to "Yellow" to try and change my bad "LUCK"

At New Egypt in the fall of 86 I ran the Dick Percival "29".  Here I'm racing with Bob Cicconi. This night was a make up from an earlier rain out.  This was a consi for any cars that came to try to get into the Feature.  While I was running second, I was trying to catch the leader with a couple of laps to go and I spun coming off of turn four.  I almost ran over my "Crew Chief", Larry Hentrich.  And that was it for that night.

In that same year we raced at Georgetown Speedway.  It's a half mile flat track. We finished fourth that night.

In 1987 I purchased a Gene Gennetten midget, Volkswagen powered.   We ran a few races that year.  That fall we decided to head to Florida, and do some winter racing.

After the Florida trip I took a few years off from the sport.  But I couldn't stay away.  I had to get myself another car.
In the fall of 96, I purchased a "Challenger" midget,
powered by another "Volkswagen"  by "Phil Dimario"

Here I'm racing at Lincoln Speedway in my return to the "DIRT".

Here at "Whip City Speedway" August of 2000, we finished a career best second place.   It was a very competitive night.  At the finish, the top three of us were nose to tail and any of us could of have won at the checkered flag.
