Race Up Date, 6/3/01:
Well we were "All Dressed Up" & "No place to Go". Both races were rained out well a head of time.
Race Up Date, 5/28/01:
We finally got the car and engine all running. Next step, to the track.
I'm planning on running up at Brewerton, NY on 6/1/01 & the next night at Whip City in MA.
Race Up Date, 4/15/01:
The season did not get off to a good start. When we tried starting the car the previous weekend the fuel pump froze up. When that happened, the oil pump drive shaft broke. I thought no problem, I'll get a new shaft. The new shaft came in Friday morning. I installed it and but the pumps back on the motor. We tried to start it, and had NO oil pressure. Came back into the garage, and tried to turn the motor over by hand, and it was seized up.
I found the CAM shaft was seized. I took the engine out and Saturday took it to Phil in New York. He'll get it a part in a couple of days.
Hope to be ready for the Williams Grove show on May the 11th
