PT-15

(Construction Photos)
This Boat was built in attempt to have the same kind of fun as
the old PT-109. It turned out being fun to build, but it is hard
to get it to run the way I'd like it to. A needle bearing prop
shaft was tried, but it was omitted after leaks and corrosion
problems. It has a Astro ferrite 25 motor that makes it go fast
enough, but the hull ride is not to my liking. I plan to try some
other hardware in it, but tight access to the inside puts it off.
A rotating radar and lights make it into a nice shelf model.
