About This Site
This site is a culmination of many subjects that interest me.
First is history, being a third and fourth generation of immigrant families, I wondered what events in the world motivated my grandparents and great grandparents to leave their homelands.
Second archeology, it is fascinating to see how people lived in the past. How they worked and sustained themselves. Which leads to genealogy.
My grandma Mary Radaskiewicz, who God bless her is still alive and kicking, gave my mother a photograph album. In the album, there are many unlabeled and unidentifiable pictures. Grandma is sharp still but cannot remember some of the people. I am in the process of saving the album digitally. This is another hobby I like to dabble in, scanning and restoring old photographs.
At this point in my rambling, I would like to let you know that I do not have any intention of using or abusing any personal information I have collected. I want to respect everyone's privacy. I will only publish general facts and public information, which is available at any town hall.
I guess I got tired of asking my parents who this is person or whom are we related to, so I figured I would start keeping track myself. I have been researching my family off and on now for about six years. It has brought me satisfaction compiling and sorting through the names and dates that have been have found.
