The magnificent stained glass windows inside the Memorial Hall.

First Thursdays from 3 to 7 p.m. We are also open on the second and fourth Sunday of the month from 12 to 3 p.m.

We will try to make arrangements to be open on request to schools, Scouts, historical societies, and other groups

Directions to the New England Civil War Museum:

Take ROUTE 84 to EXIT 67: Rockville, CT. If you are travelling on Rte. 84 EAST, at the end of the exit, take a LEFT at the traffic light. If you are on Rte. 84 WEST, at the end of the exit, take a RIGHT at the traffic light. Proceed STRAIGHT through the next traffic light onto GROVE STREET. Next turn LEFT onto EAST MAIN STREET. Take a RIGHT onto PARK STREET and an immediate LEFT onto PARK PLACE. 14 Park Place is the Memorial Building, containing rhe Vernon Town Hall. The museum is located on the second floor. Parking is available in the rear.
