Calling all pie bakers!

Rockdale County Cooperative Extension has an annual Agriculture and Natural Resources Day and a big component of this is a pie contest! Recently, Georgia has taken the slot as #1 producer of pecans and blueberries and so we’re highlighting both of those crops in the pies! The contest is co-sponsored by Farm Bureau and is judged by “local celebrities” like Fred Boscarino of the Chamber, Chef Alain from Seven Gables restaurant, and Peggy Lawrence of RCPS. We’ll pick the top three entries in both the adult and youth (12-17) divisions.
