Maps

I have received several e-mails asking about the former railroad stations and freight houses along the Air Line Rail Trail.  Most are interested if any still exist and can be seen from the trail or can be accessed from streets.  Sadly, many have been torn down and even their foundations are gone.  I have built a table of the stations that were on the route, from Portland to Thompson, and am trying to find pictures as they were in the past and pictures if they are still standing today.  This is a work in progress, if any one has any information about existing railroad stations on the trail or pictures they can send, please send me an e-mail and I would be happy to include it on the list.  Remember, the stations still standing are usually private property, so be courteous if you want to get a closer look.
