WELCOME TO ETERNIA!

        Hello, and welcome to my Masters of the Universe page.  I spent the better part of my childhood playing with Masters toys and watching the TV show.  When I turned 13 in was time for the toys to go and I packed up my massive collection and put it away.  During the winter of 2000, I rediscovered the boxes of toys that had spent ten years in my parents attic.   I remembered how much fun I had with the toys as a kid, and thought the designs and features of the toys were still pretty cool. My interest in Masters of the Universe was renewed and became my new hobby.
        On this page mainly I'll be showcasing my collection and trying to create a comprehensive directory of Masters web sites.  I'd like to try to make this page unique, but with so many other MOTU sites out there I have a difficult task ahead.    I will be adding much more to this page soon, so enjoy what's here, and there will be more to come.
 
 

JANUARY 2004

OK... I've been Bad and haven't updated in a LONG time. Sorry, my bad. I hope to have a large update which may include a redesign of the page online by the spring. In the meantime, if you are a fan of the current Masters of the Universe toys, cartoon, comic book please got to He-Man.Org to find out how you can support them. The toyline isn't in the best of shape due mainly, in my opinion, to the mistakes Mattel has made and it is possible the line will be cancelled. There is a petition up as well as a call / e-mail / letter campaign. If you are a fan of He-Man in any way please help out.

OCTOBER 2002

        Welcome Back.  The new toys are in stores and selling well.  The second series of MOTU heroic figures are
hitting stores now, the latest assortment consists of: Jungle Attack He-Man, Ram-Man and Meckaneck.  The second wave of evil figures, including Trap-Jaw and Tri-clops, are slated to hit stores before the end of the year.

        The new cartoon series is very good and apparently doing well in the TV ratings.  It is currently airing on
Cartoon Network Fridays during the Toonami programing block.  The previous weeks episode repeats at 5:30 PM and the new episodes air at 6 PM.  In mid-November the cartoon is supposed to begin airing Monday- Friday check out Toonami's He-Man site for more info.

        The first issue of the new Masters of the Universe comic book from Image Comics will be released November 27th.  The new comic is being done by MV Creations.

       GRAYSKULL'S LIBRARY IS ONLINE!  Finally, I've been able to complete the first round of  work on my glorified links page.  The Library has links to many other great MOTU- related web sites.  Enjoy browsing through them.  I promised links to over 50 sites last update, and currently there are 49, so that's not too shabby.  Please visit Grayskull's Library now!

AUGUST 2002

        The new Masters of the Universe toys are in stores now. The figures and accessories that have been released in the first wave are:

       In addition, there are also mini-figures out as well. (Non-posable minature versions of the figures.)  I have managed to pick up most of these toys already.  I am planning on getting some pictures of them on the site, maybe with the next update.  The second wave of figures are reportedly ready to begin hitting store shelves anytime not.

        The new cartoon series debuted on the Cartoon Network August 16.  It will be airing every Friday afternoon at 5 pm during the Toonami programming block.  The new series consists of 26 new eposodes.  (The first 3 episodes make up the debut movie.)

There is a new comic book on the way as well.
It seems the second coming of the Masters of the Universe is upon us.

MARCH 2002
      - Added five new pictures of my collection to Visions of Eternia.  The latest batch of pictures are all shots of figures posed for battle in the playsets.  Out of the pictures I've posted on this site these are my favorites.
        The new line of MOTU action figures are expected to hit stores this summer (June/July) and they will be accompanyed by a new 1-hour cartoon special on Cartoon Network. It looks like a new cartoon series may be on the way as well.
 

Updates November 2001
- Reworked the site layout.
- Added five new pictures of my collection to Visions of Eternia.
        The Second Series of Re-Issue figures is in stores currently.  The re-issued figures are: Battle Armor He-Man, Battle Armor Skeletor, Clawful, Buzz-Off, Stratos, and Zodac.  There is also a second Commemorative Series 5-pack due out in mid-November.  The big news recently, of course, is that Mattel is relaunching the Masters of the Universe toyline.  Most of the new figures look really good (especially MERMAN). The new line should be hitting stores in late November. He-Man.org has lots of pictures of them on their News page so check them out.
