William and his family may have lived in or near Hugo, Oklahoma for a while as suggested by the fact that his sister, Mary Katherine Moore, frequently visited "relatives" there during the early 1900's. These visits were mentioned in diaries kept by her son, James R. Moore, during the period 1907-1914. All the other siblings of William are know to have remained in Texas, consequently, he must have been the one Katherine visited. However, William and Amelia are very probably buried in the Eutaw Cemetery.
