Education: BA (Psychology, Music), Binghamton University, 1996
Kimberly Wehger, a native of New England, showed an early interest in both the visual and performing arts when selected for the role of Peter Pan in her elementary school's 5th grade play. She graduated magna cum laude from Shelton High School in 1992. While there, she designed the Class of 1992 school ring, served as Activities Editor on the Yearbook Committee, was a member of both the SHS Chorus and SHS Band, and appeared in such theatre roles as Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls and Mrs. McAffee in Bye Bye Birdie. Kimberly did not begin formal musical study until her freshman year at Binghamton University as a student of Theresa Schoendorf. After one year of lessons with a teaching assistant, Kimberly completed her vocal studies under the private instruction of Mary Burgess. She was a member of both the University Chorus and Harpur Chorale, served on the Undergraduate Music Advisory Committee for two years, and was last seen as a Priestess in the Tri-Cities Opera production of Saint-Saen's Samson and Delilah. Also at Binghamton, Kimberly developed her visual art skills by serving as Darkroom Manager for the Smith Hall darkroom, creating campus organization logos and mascots, and designing the program for her April 1996 Honors Recital in vocal performance. She was awarded the Stevenson Barrett Memorial Award for excellence in vocal performance, Departmental Honors in Music, and the Department of Music Certificate of Achievement Award. Kimberly graduated cum laude from Binghamton University in 1996 with a BA in Music and in Psychology and from Southern Connecticut State University in 2003 with an MA in Psychology. Recently, she has studied figure drawing under Jack Kovatch at the Silvermine Art Institute. A permanent employee of Purdue Pharma L.P. since September 1998, Kimberly currently serves as a Senior Web Content Developer/Designer.
