Sad news, Bluto, my cat of 6 or 7 years passed away today, 5/7/01. Heíd been quite lethargic for the past couple of days, very dehydrated, eyes went from green to grey, Brought him in to the Emergency Vet Saturday night as he was breathing rapidly.  They did all kinds of tests (~$1,000 worth) but still donít have a diagnosis yet. They think it is something tied in with the liver. I expect to know more once the autopsy is done.

This picture is uncannily like him. I found this picture a few years before he arrived; I was living in Stamford at the time. And then when he turned up I thought it must have been some kind of omen.

Anyway, am very sad to lose him but he lead a good long life. He wasnít very smart but had a good heart, although heíd show it by hitting you. Kinda like the Popeye character. Big and stupid but loveable.
