  • NEWS FLASH - Jack Barry Junior & Senior League 2008
    The Jack Barry Little League will continue its Junior-Senior League program in 2008. The Junior-Senior League is an extension of the Jack Barry Little League and accommodates youngsters league age 13, 14, 15 & 16. Boundaries for the Jack Barry Junior-Senior League will conform to those of the Jack Barry Little League. Sign-up information for the 2008 season posted below.

  • Jack Barry Little League will launched its 59th season on April 19,2008 (Rain date April 20,2008). Your support and volunteerism will make a difference. Now is the time to get involved? Drop us an e-mail today to find out how you can help.
    Little League meetings are held monthly and parents of little league members as well as the general public are welcome to attend. Meeting dates are posted on this site.

    • Sign-up Information, for Jack Barry Little League 2008 Spring Season. Registration Fee of $45 for the first child and $30 for each additional child (Plus fundraiser $52 for each member required or buy-out-$25, fee changes after 2-1-08). All Junior and Senior League playes $45 plus fundraiser ($52) or buy-out ($25).
    All registration fees and fundraiser or buy-out money due at registration.

    Important Dates to Remember

  • Sign ups have been set for:

    (1) January 23,2008 at Nathan Hale Elementary School, 6:30 to 8:00PM

    (2) February 7,2008 at Dicks Sporting goods, 6:30 to 8:00PM

    (2) February 13,2008, at John Barry Elementary School, 6:30 to 8:00PM

    Please note, school closing or early dismissal due to bad weather will cancel registration that night

  • All sign-ups listed above (the ones held at schools) will be held in the school cafeterias, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Registration Fee of $45* for the first child and $30* for each additional child plus fundraiser ($52) or buy-out ($25) also due at signups, All Junior and Senior League playes $45 plus fundraiser ($52) or buy-out ($25) also due at sign-ups. (fee till 2-1-08, see fee for after 2-1-08 below).
    * Registration fees subject to change without notice.

  • FINAL 2008 LATE SIGN-UPs -- Jack Barry LL Complex Fieldhouse, 210 Britannia St. Saturday February 16,2008 (Snow date February TBD), 9 AM ~ 12 PM. Fund-raiser not available after 2-1-08, all late signups required to buy-out. Registration fee is $70 first family member, $55 second family member and $30 for third family member. All Junior and Senior League playes $70.

  • Try-outs (for players not currently assigned to a Reg's level team) will be March TBD ,2008 at Maloney High School, (Snow Date March TBD, same time, call our information hotline at 235-8766 for cancellation information ). Late signups also taken.
    9:00 AM to 10:00 AM for 8 year olds
    10:30 AM to 11:00 AM for 9 year olds
    11:30 AM to 12:00 PM for 10 year olds
    12:30 PM to 12:30 PM for 11 and 12 year olds
    12:30 PM to 1:00 PM for 13, 14, 15, & 16 year olds

    Last try-out April TBA, at Jack Barry Little League 210 Britannia Street.

    JBLL coaches will conduct the player draft on Sunday March TBD at 6 PM. Players will be notified by coach's during the last week of March for team selection, level of play, and practice schedule.

  • Umpire Clinic
    Saturday April (TBD) at 2 p.m.
    Clinic will be held at the Jack Barry Little League Complex.
    This clinic is free and designed for volunteer umpires, managers, coaches, parents, players and friends of Jack Barry Little League.

    • Requirements for Sign-up 2008 Season

    1. Little League, age 5 to 12 years old (Copy of Birth Certificate required for first time players, must be 12 years of age or younger prior to 5-1-08).

    2. Junior-Senior League, age 13 to 16 years old (Copy of Birth Certificate required for first time players, must be 16 years of age or younger prior to 5-1-08).

    3. Live North of West Main, North of East Main to Gravel Street, North of Maloney and North and West of I-691 to I-91, and North of I-691 to the Middlefield Town Line.

    4. Participate in fund raiser $52 (Available till 2-1-08), or $25 buy-out option.

    5. Registration Fee of $45* for the first child and $30* for each additional child. All Junior and Senior League playes $45.
