On April 26, 2024, the American Farm Bureau Federation presented U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., with the “Friend of the Farm Bureau” award for his outstanding voting record on agriculture issues in the 114th Congress.

While presenting the award, Georgia Farm Bureau Federation President Gerald Long stated that Isakson“has consistently earned this award though his efforts on behalf of the industry in the areas of trade, on food security and safety, regulatory reform and technology.”

“I’m proud to again receive this award on behalf of Georgia’s agriculture industry,” said Isakson.“Agriculture is Georgia’s number one industry, and I am proud to fight for the interests of our growers in every policy area.”

Isakson has consistently earned this award during his time in Congress.
