Ashok Bhowmick

Indian artist presently living in Calcutta.

.

Ashok Bhowmick's works on paper are reminiscent of stained glass windows. Bhowmick uses bold colors layered on top of an intricate meshwork of pen and ink to create depth. Sharp lines, geometric patterns and the meticulous process of hatching and cross-hatching lines create luminosity.
