Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic
The Clinic provides counseling and other mental health services to adults living with a severe
mental illness and provides specialized services for those with Co-occurring Disorders (mental
illness and chemical substance abuse). Priority is given to at-risk individuals who are living with
an acute psychiatric disorder and those whose condition is complicated by substance abuse or
addiction. Psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and counselors facilitate a range of
individualized treatments. Outpatient care is coordinated with inpatient partial hospital and
detoxification providers. The Clinic staff is available to consult with other community caregivers
and serve as a resource for them.

The Outpatient Clinic is licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Health and Addictive
Services, and accepts all third-party payors, including Medicare and Medicaid, and offers a
sliding scale payment plan for self-payors.
