I bet you will agree they both can be painful. I’ll spend money and time to play golf (bad golf here lately) before I’ll break down and get a lesson. It’s like going to the doctor when your sick days after suffering you thought you could fix yourself. I finally had it. I guess the last straw was when I started losing $$$ to my buddy Scott. I realized my game was sick. Scott with my recommended I go see the pro at Georgia National Country Club, Frank Gasaway. I could not wait and booked a lesson the next day. When I called him, he said he was booked and was going on vacation in a couple days and it would be next week. After I told him the story of Scott beating me he realized how desperate the matter must be so he fit me in. I haven’t had a chance to work much on what he showed me but it has made me very excited again to have something to work on. I liked that he only gave me a couple of focus points with my swing instead of trying to change my whole swing.
Putting has been an issue and I can share a couple tips that may help you. On a left to right putt use a strong grip to prevent misses on the low side. On a right to left putt use, a weak grip to prevent misses on the low side.
Life lessons can also be tactful and tough to deal with. Sometime when things seem to go aria in our life their no harm in looking to someone that has either gone thru the same thing or maybe it’s as simple as just having someone to talk to. .My buddy Charlie lost his angel of a mother this past weekend and although I have not gone thru such a crisis I knew I could at least listen so that’s exactly what I did. Not sure, it helped but I know it did not hurt. I’m sure her love will be with him forever.
Till Next Tee Time
