This classic image sent by Tom Bryant. According to Tom, this is a photo taken by a Brownie camera and digitally restored. It looks great to me! This is black and white.

The general consensus is that this is from El Salvador. But, is it?
 

This unid test pattern sent in by Jeff Kadet. Jeff snapped this photo (channel 7) in 1972 while he was living in Bethesda, MD. It was taken at 0330 ET. He thought it was WMAL-7, but WMAL was off and eventually signed on over this station. The signal peaked north toward the Pentagon. The calls seem to be V V 2 8 9 9 9. OK...so what is this station???
