FLOCK THEATRE
Flock Theater, led by artistic director Derron Wood, is a
group of theater artists who work in various theatrical venues throughout the
United States, performing everything from Street Theater to imaginative puppetry
to Shakespeare!
First Congregational Church now hosts Flock Theatre's winter
season of productions – as well as its weekday acting classes. We are excited
to welcome this New London-based theater group into our space!
Flock Theatre was a hit with the church and the community
when they performed "MacBeth" during the lead-up to Halloween in 2003.
That outstanding performance was followed by a two-week run of the Greek classic
“Antigone” in January and a two-week run of Shakespeare’s “Midsummer
Night’s Dream” in March. There will be a performance of the
fifteenth-century morality play “Everyman” in May – and “Macbeth” will
return in October.
