Fred Towner
1933 - 2000
Fred passed away on April 15, 2000. He is missed by all of us.
Fred is a regular contributor to the NowUrCookin list. Members insisted on seeing the keeper of 65,000 recipes that he shares with us, so, I'm posting this by popular demand. After a week or two, I may substitute his photo for mine as he is the cuter of the two of us.
I probably should have put more of Fred's background here as he is an interesting individual. Retired, he keeps busy being the food editor for a newsletter for seniors. Presently living in BC (that is in Canada for the geographically impaired) but has family living in Texas. His favorite food is Cajun from when he spent time in Louisiana.

BJ's Workplace
BJ teaches at the Kansas City Culinary Center. Below is a shot of the place where she works. One of the nicest looking and best equipped kitchens I've ever seen.
Lloyd
Lloyd has been a member for a few years and is a big contributor of recipes from his collection of thousands. Lloyd is retired but still very active cooking and smoking foods for his family. When they have a summer gathering of family, hundreds of pounds of food are prepared the the party lasts for days.
Lloyd also has a large collection of recipes on his web page. Many are from Central America
