There, now ... don't you feel better?

I hope you understood the point of this "exercise." We all have certain expectations of what "God" is, what God wants, what God does, etc. We have them, even if we aren't sure that he exists, or if, as I do, we know that it's impossible to know God at all.

We all have a certain amount of curiosity about what a "supreme being" might be. For many people, this curiosity is something they must satisfy, regardless of whether or not they have enough information to do so.

In fact, we create God, ourselves, by building him from our own expectations! The curiosity causes us to ask questions, which we, ourselves, "answer," in order to satisfy it. Whether or not those "answers" have any basis in truth, is often irrelevant. Satisfying the "need to know" is more important, for many folks, than being factual.
