The Tower of Terror
The Hollywood Tower Hotel is home to MGM Studio's most exciting thrill ride. Guided by Rod Serling, guests travel through the 199-foot tall building, learning the legend of how lightning struck the building in 1939, causing the mysterious disappearance of an entire wing of the hotel, along with the elevator. The ride culminates in a 13-story drop in 2-1/2 seconds! Because of the strain this ride can cause, the motors that operate the ride are actually three times stronger than those used in the 110-story World Trade Center in New York.

Star Tours
Boarding flight simulators that are the same type as used by pilots training for the military and commercial airlines, guests experience what it's like to travel in Star Speeders to the moon of Endor. Along the way, visitors meet R2D2 and C-3PO, and get to pass through laser-blasting fighters and a field of giant ice crystals.
