Explore Zone:
From the DisneyQuest Web site:
"The Explore Zone is a place where time is no barrier to worlds of mythic fantasy and ancient splendor. You and your fellow travelers will be transported to lands both real and imagined, where you can embark on adventures with your favorite Disney characters."

There are currently four adventures within the Explore Zone: Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride, Virtual Jungle Cruise, Hercules in the Underworld, and Treasure of the Incas.

Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride
Disney's venture into virtual reality. In this attraction, guests are seated at motorcycle-style seats and fitted with VR helmets. Four guests travel side by side at a time through virtual Agrabah, on a mission to free the Genie from the Cave of Wonders.

Virtual Jungle Cruise
Ride the rapids through pre-history! Guests are seated in inflatable rafts that are mounted on air mattresses and are given paddles. Large projection screens respond to the actions of the guests--as the left side paddles, the view rotates. The air mattresses move to reflect the action on the screens. Professor Wayne Szalinski from "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" serves as host and guides the crew as they travel back in time 60 million years.

Hercules in the Underworld
Arcade action for the 90's! Guests are taken four-at-a-time into small rooms with large monitors. You wear 3D glasses and control either Hercules, Meg, Phil, or Pegasus on a quest to gather lightning bolts--lightning bolts that are used at the end of the game in a battle with Hades.

Treasure of the Incas
Who needs a license for adventure? Drive a remote-controlled car with a dashboard-mounted camera and hunt for riches in an Incan labyrinth! Friends and family help you as they watch you both onscreen and underfoot -- in a one-thousand square foot, miniature maze set beneath the glass floor of the Explore Zone. When you're done collecting loot, you receive tickets which can be redemed for prizes.
