DisneyQuest is the newest addition to Walt Disney World. Far overshadowed by the launch of Animal Kingdom, DisneyQuest is a sort of "virtual theme park," which delights visitors in a whole new way. Here, the focus is on interactivity and hands-on activities, rather than more passive thrill rides. There are four different areas in DQ: the Create Zone, the Explore Zone, Score, and the Replay Zone. The first DisneyQuest opened in June, 1998 in the Disney World Marketplace. The next scheduled location is Chicago. Construction has already begun in downtown Chicago, and the grand opening is slated for Summer of 1999. DisneyQuest is one of Disney World's best kept secrets.
