Al's 85 Monte SS

AL is the original owner, he purchased his
Monte in Sept of 1984. He paid $14,500.
AL used his car as a daily driver for only one year,
and to date only has 57.000 miles on it.
At one point Al was going to give the car to his
daughter, but decided to do some customizing and
turn this already great looking car into a car used
for shows and cruise nights. If you've been to any
of the shows or cruises in southern CT I'm sure
you've seen Al and his Monte SS there.
Al's started showing his Monte in 1993, and
since then has collected quite a number of
trophy's. At last count he was up to 32, and
half of those being 1st place trophy's.

Al's Car has original paint & interior, and the
undercarriage is meticulously cleaned, painted,
and finished off with red lighting all around.
The engine and engine compartment has also
been heavily detailed with polished aluminum,
and chrome

Other Modifications include Crager 15"x8" Mags
deep reversed, with Good Year 245-60r15 tires.
Hypertech Performance Chip, and Trans Shift Kit.
The engine is a 305 High Output engine, and has an
Aluminum intake manifold, with a 4 barrel
Rochester Quadrejet carb. H.P. is 180 at 4800 rpm's.
Torque is 235ft lbs at 3.200 rpm's. Axle Ratio is
3.73:1 Posi Traction. Trans-4 spd auto with over-
drive. Also a low restriction dual exhaust with
2 1/2" pipes, and Flow Master Turbo Mufflers.
