We thank everyone who attended the brunch, auction and
who bid/donated to the auction. This year’s brunch and

CONGRATULATIONS!
To Judy Niedzielski, PAC Chairperson, for her nomination for the Wethersfield Schools Parent Council (WSPC)
Special Recognition Award. This award recognizes an individual whom has made a volunteer commitment to benefit
the education or social experience of the children in the Wethersfield public school system. Judy will be recognized
at a town wide ceremony in May.
In addition to being a mother of 4, a school nurse at Webb, Judy stepped into the position of PAC Chairperson when
one was desperately needed. You can also find her on the soccer field as an assistant coach to her sons soccer team.
Judy has assisted in sewing costumes for the SDMS Drama Department for the past few years. If you were not
aware, all of the adorable personalized bibs gifted from PAC to the many SDMS babies born this year were also
handmade by Judy! |

…to Jay Krusell who has been elected President of the Board of Directors of “Hands on Hartford” (HOW). This assignment is similar to church consulting work in that HOW is explicitly a faith-based organization in place to help those less fortunate living in the Hartford area (AIDS patients, the hungry, inner-city school children who need a boost, etc.) This group is also branching out into an exciting new area: trying to stimulate and enhance grass roots volunteerism in the Hartford region. Best wishes, Jay. |
The ICE SKATING PARTY was
a HUGE Success.
A sincere thank-you to all who participated in Growth & Development's first event of the year. We had more than 90 skaters participate and had a fantastic day of fun and fellowship, as promised. We are planning on a follow-up event and may be able to rent the ENTIRE RINK for Church members and friends ONLY. We are tentatively planning the event for Sunday, June 22. The cost should be in the $5 person range...stay tuned for this and more events in the coming months. |
