February 2002 Rides

16 Feb: Back on the Serotta for the first time since October! It is running good now, and a beautiful day to boot. Rode through the hilly backroads of New Canaan to Ridgefield. Then down into Wilton and back down to Norwalk. Perfect day out - in the high forties. This has been a very mild winter. Hopefully spring will be here soon.

23 Feb: Rode over for the first Gimbel's ride of the year. Decided to the long version of the ride, it turned out to be extra long - we ended up tacking on some extra killer hills. After these, we were a smaller group of about eight or so, the stronger riders ahead. We kept a pretty good pace going. Rode back to CT in some beautiful weather. The distance took it's toll on me. Need more base miles.

24 Feb: Short ride up to Ridgefield in the morning. Very nice out.
