Sept 18: Ride up to Ridgefield and over to Weston. Down to Norwalk. Stopped and chatted a bit with "The Chairman of the Board," a fellow on Rt 53 who had some nice rocking chairs and tables on display. He also has three horses and gives carriage rides. Takes them down to Florida for the winter. He's got the right idea. I need to start exploring a warm place as a winter home. The sun is dropping lower in the sky now, making the glare pretty bad in the late afternoon hours. Winter is on its way here - yuck.
Sept 12: This ride was up to Rt. 106 and over to Weston and down Rt. 53. Very quick pace for this short ride.
Sept 11: This ride was a nice long one up Rt. 123 up to Ridgefield. Then over to the better part of the Bloomin' Metric - where there are horses, nice houses, and a few good stretches of twisty dangerous downhills. Perfect weather out.
