Check the water out before allowing the kids permission to enter.

Little kids don't always think before they act. A responsible person should always survey the sub-surface condition of the intended swimming location. Even if you use the same swimming location over and over again, always re-check the situation. Maintain control of the situation, and you will automatically be taking responsible steps to protect your charge. My Dad likes the full face snorkel mask more than I do. For the purpose of the film, I used the snorkel to demonstrate what a responsible person would normally do to protect children. Adult usually have a preference for the full face mask.

This is a picture of me checking out the bottom. I'm looking for items such as rocks, branches, fishing equipment, glass, and ropes. Also I'm on the lookout for snapping turtles, snakes, and pikes
