This is a picture of the microphone preamp

This design is based upon the commonly available 6SN7 vacuum tubes. This particular picture is when the amp has been configured with a pair of Sovtek tubes. Similar performance is achieved by using GE, RCA, or Sylvania tubes. The preamp is fully floating and uses a cathode follower on the output. Included in the circuit is an interface that provides a built in variable Mu limiter function. All filaments are powered by either 5 VDC, or regulated DC power. The high voltage supply is also regulated by a beam power pentode to reduce HV ripple.
