By unanimous vote, the Newton County Board of Education (BOE) re-elected Mr. Almond Turner and Mr. Eddie Johnson to continue to serve as chair and vice-chair in 2023. Superintendent Samantha Fuhrey presented Mr. Turner with the chairman’s gavel.
