CAPD Evaluations in Germany

CAP assessments are done for American children enrolled in DoDDS, in the Heidelberg area of Germany. Requests for CAP evaluation are increasing steadily; however, the school must refer the child and have done some evaluation homework (speech & language assessment, psychological workup, educational assessment).

I primarily I do SSW, Phonemic Syntheis, Lindamood Auditory Conceptualization, SCAN or SCAN/A as age appropriate, Speech in Noise, Pitch Pattern Sequence, and Competing Environmental Sound. I am looking at ACPT and Dichotic Digits. I do ABR if I suspect brainstem involvement. .
