CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
---> Church School Calendar
The Christian Education Program at The First Congregational Church, Canton Center, has as its purpose the following:
1. To lead all members and friends into an increasing knowledge and fellowship with God;
2. To develop in our people personal character which shall be genuinely Christian in our relationships;
3. To develop in our members and friends interest and knowledge regarding the Christian Church’s whole life - past, present, and future - here in Canton Center and elsewhere in the world;
4. To increase the desire and ability of all to participate in the life and work of this church.
Notes to Families:
- Help maintain “wellness” among our tots by keeping sick children at home.
- Watch for monthly church school news in “The Churchmouse”.
- Church school offering envelopes are available to encourage young stewardship.
- Escort young children to church or class.
- Meet your children (first grade and younger) promptly at 11:00 A.M. but not before.
- Wait for church school to conclude; do not disturb a class that is in session.
- Children should not be allowed in the classroom area before or after class.
- Supervise your children at coffee hour to prevent mishaps.
- Feel free to express interest in what your children are learning in worship and class by asking questions of them, teachers, or any member of the Christian Education Committee.
