It depends....... What it really means is do you know the make of the carbs on your bike? They probably are the Mikuni's (it's to late to spell anything) and not Keihin's considering the year. But I am basing my knowledge on 49 state models. If it is the Keihin's (?sp?) then go look through my webpage for some detailed information on what you can do to them. If it isn't the Keihins just call dynojet and tell them that you have a Tiger and get the proper jet kit, don't confuse the issue with it being a CA Sprint. ;-) Now you know you shouldn't tamper with the emission controls due to a baby condor might get asthma from your evil exhaust! I just got a e-mail from a guy who did the Keihin mod to another 98 Tiger and here is his words: (Yes, it is British Racing Green also!!! Every year around this time I start to get real itchy to go riding... street or dirt. As a result, I start thinking of modifications or accessories I'd like to add to my bikes come spring. You were spot-on in describing their effects. It vastly improved low RPM response - to the point where the front wheel will lift off the ground in first gear with nothing more than a good throttle twist! I make it a practice to save the wheelies for the dirt bike though. I'm glad I spent the money to have that done. Too bad I only got a few rides in after the mods before winter set in.
