His eyes are like the ocean; Fathomless with unending depths. Depths in which the soul Could be glimpsed. His beautiful soul that is so loving, So playful, so gentle, childlike and open. A soul that is timelessly joined to mine— They become one with each sunrise At the opening of each new day, every day. Soul mates we are eternally, Life after life after life. And soul mates we become again Each day, each minute, every Time his gaze meets mine. With each glimpse into his eyes, I peek into his soul, and each glimpse He gets of my eyes, he also gets of my soul. Our two souls joined but not all alike— Differences bring us closer. Each day we discover new things About ourselves and about each other. And our souls become even more intertwined, And they will remain so, for eternity Into his eyes I will gaze, looking at his soul. Into his eyes I have gazed before, Centuries ago, years ago, Once upon a time. Into his eyes I will gaze in centuries to come, In years to come, in times to come: In lives to come. His eyes are hypnotic, but they've entranced me before. Despite the many times they mesmerized me before, I am still sensitive to their charm. I still fall each time, each life. Of this I am sure, for no matter When it was or when it will be, His eyes will always catch me and I will fall into their fathomless depths, Deeper and deeper into love and his soul. |
