The BK-20 roller inspection system provides the manufacturer of precision rollers a means of performing 100% inspection of all roller features automatically. The inspected features are listed below:

The inspections are performed by use of a single gaging station. The length is inspected at the input load position. The station is of a modular design and can be used in a stand-alone configuration if desired.

The machine is also equipped with a part input device consisting of an accumulating style conveyor that is operator loaded with parts in end to end fashion. The inspected parts are handled by a flexible sorting station that outputs part into Vee tracks in end-to-end fashion by diameter size and length.

The automation of this machine provides the part transfer functions to move the part from the input conveyor to the gage station and finally to the sort output Vee tracks.
