Mor is a retired teacher's assistant who absolutely adores children. She is the resident grandma to the kids in her neighborhood, often providing treats to the kids that play in her yard. She is exceptionally loving and patient. She is so excited about us adopting and eagerly welcomes a new addition to our family. Being retired and living in the next town from us, we are sure Mor will be a regular part of our child's life.

My Dad is a retired mechanic supervisor. He is a humorous, thoughtful and considerate person always helping others in every way he can. Edith, who is called Lola (grandma in Filipino) by Emily & John, works as an accountant now and was previously a middle school math teacher. She is a sweetheart, especially with the children in our family. She is exceptional at coordinating events, elaborate children's birthday parties and really adding a spark to any occasion. I am having a lot of fun right now with my younger brothers, Chris & Steven who are both teenagers. Chris is currently an English major in his first year of college and I visit him weekly. He is such a good-natured and thoughtful young man. I really admire his ability to write books / short stories or to create a piece of artwork. Steven, the youngest and certainly the most humorous family member, is a senior in high school. We are very proud of Steven. He is extremely bright and plans to pursue a math/science degree in college next year.

Diana, my older sister, teaches Spanish, French and German to middle school students. Diana has been writing children's stories and making children's games since she was a teenager. She has a special gift with young children, but also enjoys teaching teenagers. Wayne is an attorney in the Air Force and is very actively involved with their two children, Emily & John. Emily is an absolute angel, so sweet, considerate and loving. John is very creative, fun and full of energy. Unfortunately, the Air Force requires their family to move often. They currently live in Colorado. However, they spend their summers close-by at their cottage in New Jersey.
