2003-2004 OMNI PARENT CONTRACT

As a parent of an OMNI Swimmer(s) I understand it is a part of my
fiscal responsibility to the club to participate in the following:
I agree to participate equally with other OMNI parents in working at the regular season meets by helping with our team work assignments or officiating.
I agree to participate equally with other OMNI parents in working during the championship season meets by helping with our work timing assignments or officiating.
I agree to assume responsibility for organizing the necessary workers from our club for a minimum of one session during the year if needed. This responsibility will be rotated among OMNI families during the year.
At each session of each meet my swimmer(s) particpates in, I agree to check in with the designated parent when I drop by swimmer off for warm-up to find out what my assignment is. It is my responsibility to find out if and what my work assignment is at the beginning of warm-up.
If our family will not be able to participate in work assignments at a particular meet, it is my responsibility to notify the designated parent or coaching staff in advance of this conflict.
I understand that the minimum number of hours I must work at regular season and championship season meets is determined by the meets our club participates in. This requirement will be discussed at the parents meeting at the beginning of each season when we will review the tentative meet schedule and may therefore vary slightly from one season to the next. (At this meeting parents will also be asked to choose a session when they will organize OMNI’s workers for that session).
I also understand that my participation in work assignments for these meets applies to the meets my swimmer(s) participates in. I am not expected to participate in work assignments at meets which my swimmer(s) does not attend with the following exceptions:
Meets run by OMNI Swim Club which are fund-raising events that benefit all OMNI swimmers.
Championship season meets when I have neglected to inform the coaches before the entry deadline date that my swimmer(s) will not be participating. (Work assignments for these meets are based on size of our club’s entry. The club is fined by CT Swimming is these assignments are not met.)
I acknowledge that I am responsible for paying OMNI Swim Club an additional $100.00 (per swimmer) in training fees, for each season my swimmer(s) participates in, if I do not participate reasonably in regular season and championship season assignments as explained above.
I also acknowledge my obligation to participate in working at the meets run by OMNI Swim Club as well as to support the concessions at those meets.
As a parent of a winter only or summer only swimmer I understand that I am expected to work a minimum of one session at each of these meets.
As a parent of a year-round swimmer I understand that I m expected to work a minimum of two sessions at each of these meets.
I also understand that I am expected to donate a selected item to the concessions for these meets.
I acknowledge that I am responsible for working at these meets regardless of whether my swimmer(s) is participating in these meets.
As the parent of a winter-only or summer only swimmer(s) I acknowledge that I am responsible for paying OMNI Swim Club an additional $200.00 (per swimmer) towards training fees if I do not fulfill my obligation to participate in work assignments during the meets conducted by OMNI as outlined above.
As the parent of a year-round swimmer(s) I acknowledge that I am responsible for paying OMNI Swim Club an additional $300.00 (per swimmer) towards training fees if I do not fulfill my obligation to participate in work assignments during the meets conducted by OMNI as outlined above.
I acknowledge that I have been informed of my responsibility to participate in work assignments for both regular season and championship season meets as well as my obligation to work at the meets conducted by OMNI. I understand that this is part of my fiscal responsibility to the club. I agree to participate in these assignments and understand that if I do not do so I am responsible for additional payments to the club as explained above. If I fail to meet these work requirements and then also fail to pay the additional required fees as outlined I understand that my swimmer(s) will not be allowed to participate in further practices or meets until this obligation is settled.
