Deborah Thibeault, Executive Director
Deborah Thibeault joined NCAP in 2004 as Executive Director. Deborah has 13 years of experience in direct service, 8 years experience administering programs and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Saint Joseph College for Women in W. Hartford. Ms. Thibeault comes to the agency from YouthBuild New Britain, a program of the city of New Britain and the Human Resources Agency of New Britain, Inc. Her history of involvement with social programs and experience in grant writing, fundraising and program planning and implementation will be an asset to the organization. Debi has also worked with the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), the Salvation Army Youth Emergency Shelter in Waterbury, and The Homeless Community Center of Greater Waterbury

Michelle Cossette, MSOC, HIV Prevention Specialist Michelle came to us in January 2002. She has a Master of Science degree in Organizational Communication, and a Bachelors degree in Communication from Central Connecticut State University. Prior to working at NCAP, Michelle served as a residential supervisor for the mentally challenged, and has had several years experience working with youth.

Alissa Hyres, Events Coordinator/Program Assistant
Alissa joined NCAP in August 2004. She majored in Religion and minored in Women's Studies at Skidmore College from where she has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her background consists of research and writing about political, psychological, sociological, and religious facets of the equal rights movement. Her recent studies on the emotional, social, physical and mental impacts of adolescence on children will only add to her expertise as a youth educator. alissahyres.ncap@snet.net

Deborah Becking, HIV Counselor
Debbie was hired as the head HIV Counselor in 1995. She received certification as an HIV Counselor in 1990 and worked in that capacity at the Waterbury Health Department from 1990-1995. She is an experienced phlebotomist and is a member of the Department of Public Health’s Review Committee for cerifying new HIV Counselors. Debbie also works on a part-time basis as the Breast & UterineCancer Outreach Worker for Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington.debbie.ncap@snet.net

James Hutchinson, HIV Counselor
