I am sending this out for the Hammonasset TU newsletter and also for my other fishing friends. I have the Connetquat park reserved for Friday Dec. 6 from 8am untill 4pm for my group.

You must have a New York State license. To get one over the phone you call the toll free number 1-866-933-2257 then push 1 and follow the instructions.

I will rent the park fishing for the day the day will start at 8am until 4pm. as a rule we take Gill out to dinner everyone is invited and everyone kicks in a buck or 2 for his dinner. The price of the day will be $50 you will SEND ME the money. You will make the check out to ME not TU. I pay Gill not TU. You will send me the money NOT pay me on the day we are fishing. I am fishing also, I do not want to have to find anyone to get the money. If you can't go for any reason except if you die you do not get the money back. Sickness, taking kids to school or wife shopping car breaking down or if your Viagra kicks in make no difference to me. You DO NOT get your money back I rent the place and would like about 20-24 people to go. when I get enough I do not take anymore. That is why you pay a bit more so I do not have 32 people trying to fish at the same time. You do not get to stand in the same spot all day we all share the river and pond. You will take a break at lunch time. Gill likes to give the fish a rest this is not my rule. If you are going do not ask me for directions. I get lost each time I drive there and when I give directions and people get lost they get mad at me so get a map. I am not a guide I am there to fish and enjoy myself also so don't look for help. This is what you need. 5,6,7X tippet. they allow NO Lead on the leader you can use 2 flies one weighted one not. You will need bobbers. The river is only 4 to 8 feet wide and is not very deep most of the time hip boots will be fine. I would bring very small nymphs and some streamers. Sometimes there is dry flies like Caddis and midges on water. You MUST be a member of TU to come. You do not need to be a member of Hammonasset TU any TU will be fine. This is for insurance reasons I am not liable nor is TU if you get hurt. If you pay to come and you do not come you DO NOT put someone in your place. I want to know well before hand who is going. Some TU chapters have had many problems with non members coming, even though they were a "good friend" of someone and a real nice person.
