AFTER JUNE 17

On Saturday, the 18th we had to say our goodbyes to Carole & Bobby. They were flying back home on the 19th but decided to stay at the airport hotel because they were leaving early in the morning. Bob & Ruth and Okie & Carol moved from the lake facility to our house in Torrington. That evening we went to dinner at a local Chinese restaurant that everyone (especially Bob) seemed to like very much. On Sunday, we had to say our goodbyes to Ruth & Bob as they left for Iowa.

THEN THERE WERE FOUR - THE CAMPBELLS AND THE ZIM'S

I wonder if anyone can help me figure out who is who in the following photos:

Which is the real Okie and which is Carol and Tresa?

On Monday, the four of us left for the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Of course, along the way we had to stop at a Quilt shop.

AND HERE AND THERE!!!

We finally made it to Portland, ME on Tuesday, the 21st, where we had dinner at a well know seafood restaurant which is actually a ship. I understand that Bob and Ruth had dinner here before they came to Connecticut. On Wednesday, the 22nd, we drove along the coast to Glouster, MA.

When we got to Glouster, we decided to take the "Whale Watch" that we unfortunately did not take in Boston. We went on the watch on Thursday, the 23rd and it was a beautiful day.We saw a number of whales as well as a school of porpoise. I really thought Carol was going to cry when she first saw the whales. Enjoy the photos. I wish you all could have been there.

YOU MUST COME BACK TO GO ON THE WHALE WATCH YOU MISSED!
