FRIDAY, JUNE 17

Early this morning, Bob & I took John McGuffin to the airport as he left for home in Texas. Around 8 AM everyone met a our house so that the women could leave on a full day in New York City with a limo at their service. Before the women left, Dick & Joann Reents said thier good-byes as they were leaving for home. The women had a great day as can be seen by the following photos.

Not knowing what to do with ourselves the guys decided to take a ride into the country. We visited some historic sites from John Browns birthplace to Litchfield, CT and Cornwall Bridge, CT amoung other places. We also visited some junk stores along the way. We stopped for lunch at Cornwall Bridge where we had some delicious chowder. Bobby Harmon wanted to take five gallons of the chowder with him to Arkansas. After we returned to Torrington, we went to Anthony's Restaurant for an Italian dinner.Overall, the women seemed to have a great day and so did the guys.
