THURSDAY, JUNE 16
This was a good but sad day. Barbara and Lynda were leaving for New York City so we had to say our first goodbyes. Dick and I took Barbara & Lynda to New Haven to catch a train to New York. When we returned to the lake, the women had already left to the "Xmas Tree Shop". The rest of us guys took a ride to a Canaan CT antique shop. On the way back to the lake we stopped and picked up some steaks (approved by Chef Huebert) for a cookout at the lake. The weather was not cooperative again as we had to hold an umbrella over our cook as he tended to the steaks. I must say, Bob did a great job as usual.
